Biography
Carolyn Biery Mohajeri is a Muslim convert with a highly inquisitive nature that has led her to enjoy research rabbit holes, humor as the best way to engage with religion & spirituality, and asserting the importance of reading fiction.
She has a joy for sharing knowledge and experience as an educator of lower level Spanish, a former staff member at the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan, and as one whose teaching and life philosophy aligns with Susan Cain’s statement on “slow productivity.”
Her broadly conceived dissertation topic is how and why humor connects three seemingly disparate books; Don Quixote, Al-Qur’an, and Beowulf.
