Biography

My passion for sport and diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice (DEIJ) collides as I am a sport management scholar that focuses on DEIJ within sport and sport organizations. My research strives to provide evidence for the current landscape of sport and the importance of DEIJ within the industry. My research specifically focuses on systemic racial issues in sports organizations, the importance of minorities in sport, and the necessity of having women in leadership roles within sports organizations. Ultimately, my research aims to educate the masses in order to promote a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture within sports and sport organizations for athletes, coaches, administrators, parents, and fans.
