Biography
Jacqueline White is a driven Ph.D. student in Educational Administration with an emphasis on Higher Education Administration program within the School of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University. She holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration with a concentration in Higher Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, both earned at Texas A&M University. She holds a graduate assistantship under Dr. Elsa Gonzalez and is a member of the ELLAS (Embracing Latina Learners’ Assets in STEM) team. Jacqueline’s current research projects includes Latina undergraduate experiences in STEM, college access for high-achieving low-income students, and POC faculty recruitment and retention at Hispanic Serving Institutions.
Jacqueline’s professional journey encompasses diverse fields, spanning from veterinary hospitals and event coordination to student success advising and organization guidance. Her varied experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective and a unique skill set. Driven by a passion for equitable education, Jacqueline’s research interests are centered on the experiences of Latine students, Latina higher education administrator experiences, student parents, and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs). Her dedication to fostering inclusive academic environments and amplifying underrepresented voices shines through her academic pursuits and professional endeavors.
