Distrito de Aguablanca, Colombia.

B.A. in Literature from the Universidad del Valle. His research and creation profile focuses on literature originating in the African Diaspora whose themes involve processes of migration, transformation, and empowerment of Afro-descendant communities. His literary creation provides a voice that has the Colombian Pacific as a place of enunciation, from where he narrates the human condition through stories that are woven between black communities in rural and urban areas.

With the concept “Afrourbanita”, his research proposes a reading that enriches the Afro-descendant ethnic diversity, from the recognition of the existing differences between communities whose cosmovision corresponds to processes associated with rurality and those whose way of life responds mainly to urban dynamics. Director of Meridiano de Barrio, a writing workshop.
