The Center for Research Impact of Social Science (CRISS) is hosting two events on writing for The Conversation (a network of news organizations that publishes stories written by researchers).
You may attend one or both events, but please register for each separately with the links provided.
RESCHEDULED: Friday, February 19 12-1 FRIDAY, MARCH 5 “Why You Should Pitch to The Conversation”
This event features Ann Kellett (Senior Writer, Division of Marketing & Communication) and Jonathan Coopersmith (Professor of History) and is co-sponsored by the Center of Digital Humanities Research (CoDHR); The Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research; Public Policy Research Institute (PPRI); Race and Ethnic Studies Institute (RESI); and Texas Research Data Center (TXRDC).
This event will take place on Friday, March 5 from 12-1 via zoom. Boxed lunch from Blue Baker will be available for pick up on campus for the first 40 people who sign up by Monday, March 1, so register today!
