OPPORTUNITY for Pre- or Post-Doc Economics Researcher
Join the Technology & PolicyResearch Initiative (TPRI) at Boston University in a leading-edge project on investments in R&D, software, and advertising using confidential microdata at the US Census. The position involves collaborating with James Bessen, Leo Sveikauskas (BLS), and other scholars on why relatively few firms invest in these intangibles, what that means for productivity and economic growth, disparities between firms (by size and ownership by women and minorities), and policy.
Statistical skills (Stata), Special Sworn Status, and experience working at a Census Regional Data Center are strong pluses.
