TAMU Event (In-person, Online): “Protecting Intellectual Property” Seminar (10/16/23)

Texas A&M Innovation is hosting an educational seminar on protecting intellectual property. The presenters will review the standard patent process and discuss recent topics impacting IP protection, including how artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT can constitute an unexpected public disclosure, as well as how IP relates to sponsored research. The event will include presentations by staff from Innovation and Sponsored Research Services, as well as an external expert in IP law. The seminar is followed by open Q&A and time for one-on-one networking. The event is scheduled for October 16, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM online, or at the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship, 1700 Research Parkway, Suite 130.
