Folio Futures: Editing Early Modern Plays for Tomorrow’s Audiences
April 22, 2024
Folio Futures will bring together scholars from around the world to assess the history of and future possibilities for editing Shakespeare and his contemporaries. The symposium will take place on Friday, April 26 at Texas A&M University-College Station and livestreamed on Zoom.

Congratulations to Alexandra E. LaGrand!

CoDHR is proud to recognize Alexandra E. LaGrand on being awarded an Honorable Mention for the Emerging Researcher Open Scholarship Award 2024 by the Canadian Social Knowledge Institute (C-SKI) for her digital project “Points Like A Man: The Shakespearean Breeches Performance Catalogue 1660-1900”.

Applications are now open! Texas A&M faculty, staff, and graduate students may apply. Applications are due by Monday, April 29, 2024. Awards will be announced mid-May 2024.

Call for Associate Director, 2024-25

CoDHR is looking for a current faculty member to join us as an Associate Director. The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of renewal, pending review, with an August 2024 starting date. Inquiries, expressions of interest, and nominations should be sent by April 5, 2024.

Bryan Tarpley will be teaching "Making Websites from Scratch: An Intro to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript" this Spring as part of CoDHR's continuing education series Programming4Humanists. The course is free to Texas A&M faculty, staff, and students.

Exhibition of Works by Texas Artist E.M. ‘Buck’ Schiwetz Opens at Stark Galleries

Texas A&M University is exhibiting the works of famed artist, architect, historian, and Aggie E.M. “Buck” Schiwetz at the J. Wayne Stark Galleries through December 16, 2023. Schiwetz's work has also been digitized by CoDHR for the Texas Art Project.
