Biography

Aster Bains-Birkner (they/them/their) graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and double minors in Communications and Classical Studies. They are involved in several community based groups including the local National Novel Writing Month chapter, A&M’s Transcend, and the Brazos Valley Textile Learning Center. Aster’s passion lies in learning folklore and mythos from as many cultures as possible as well as how intersectionality affects them.
