Biography

I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at Texas A&M University. Prior to graduate school, I was a Research Assistant and Program Manager at the Rosario Experimental and Behavioral Economics Lab – REBEL and interned at the Central Bank of Colombia Research Unit.

Broadly speaking, my research interests lie in the economics of labor and education, with a special focus on hiring discrimination, employment dynamics in multi-racial or multi-ethnic settings, informal labor markets, and teamwork cooperation and conflict resolution in diverse groups.

In my work, I use a variety of empirical methods, including laboratory, online, and field experiments, in conjunction with the analysis of survey and administrative data.

My research is being funded by a Russell Sage Foundation Dissertation Research Grant and the Texas A&M Department of Economics, Race & Ethnic Studies Institute, and College of Arts & Sciences.
