José Valdez (He/Him/Él)

Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Pursuing doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration/Higher Education from the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University.

Research Interests: Ethnic/Chicanx Studies curriculum and pedagogy, First generation Latinx college students, College Teaching, Critical Consciousness, and storytelling

Currently work as a graduate assistant for the Center for Teacher Excellence helping redesign the Mays School of Business curriculum.
