CFP (Symposium): Texas Digital Humanities Symposium (Proposals due 03/27/24)

Proposals for 30-minute presentations are now open for the inaugural Texas Digital Humanities Symposium. The symposium seeks proposals which address any of the following aspects: DH Content: Diverse Perspectives, DH Tools: Practical Empowerment, Teaching and Classroom Integration: Real-World Impact, and Research Challenges: Navigating the Unknown. The symposium is scheduled for September 5-6, 2024 at Baylor University. Proposals are due by March 27, 2024.

Would you like to share your insights, challenges, or work as a whole with fellow DH scholars, librarians, and practitioners from across the state? If you answered yes, then we invite you to submit a proposal for the inaugural Texas Digital Humanities Symposium.

ALL ACCEPTED PROPOSALS WILL RECEIVE COMPLIMENTARY LODGING, COURTESY OF THE BAYLOR UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES.

Proposals will be accepted from February 20 through March 27, 2024. Notifications of acceptance or declination will be sent in April 2024.

Call for Proposals

The CFP form will require the following information:

Title

Abstract (500 words maximum)

Which of the four aspects of digital humanities your proposal applies to (DH Content, DH Tools, Teaching and Classroom Integration, Research Challenges)

Name, affiliation, job title, and email address for each presenter

Short biography for each presenter (150 words maximum)
