CFP (Travel Scholarships): 2024 IIIF Annual Conference (Applications due 03/18/24)
The IIIF Consortium is pleased to announce two travel scholarships to attend the 2024 IIIF Annual Conference. The scholarship will provide up to $2,000 in travel funds to recipients with the goal of fostering a conference environment that reflects the diversity of the wider IIIF Community. Applications are due by March 18, 2024. The IIIF Conference is scheduled for June 4-7, 2024 in Los Angeles, CA.

CFP (Grants): “Recovering the US Hispanic Heritage Program”, US Latino Digital Humanities at the University of Houston (Applications due 01/08/24)
US Latino Digital Humanities (USLDH) at the University of Houston invites applications to their Grants-in-Aid program. Proposals must draw from recovered primary and derivative sources produced by Latinas/os in what is now the United States, dating from the Colonial Period to 1980. Scholars will also have the opportunity to publish on Arte Público Press’ APPDigital publication platform. Applications are due by January 8, 2024.

The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) invites applications for its Digital Justice Grants Program which provides resources for projects at various stages of development that diversify the digital domain, advance justice and equity in digital scholarly practice, and/or contribute to public understanding of racial and social justice issues. Proposals are due by December 15, 2023.

CFP (Fellowships): Remote Fellowships (2024) for Latin American Digital Scholarship (Proposals due 11/10/23)
The Digital Scholarship Office at LLILAS Benson Latin American Studies and Collections (University of Texas at Austin) offers 6 to 8 remote fellowships each year that provide up to a $3,000 stipend for students and scholars regardless of institutional affiliation. Fellows must undertake remote research or teaching projects in Latin American, U.S. Latine, African Diaspora, and/or Indigenous Studies using data, born-digital sources, or the Benson Latin American Collection’s digitized holdings and digital methods/platforms. Proposals are due by November 10, 2023. The deadline was extended on November 6, 2023.
