Bio
Jared Hanson-Park’s research focuses on the scientific realism debate in the philosophy of science and on the philosophy of Bertrand Russell. Because the scientific realism debate involves questions of scientific knowledge, evidence, and metaphysics, he is also actively interested in these topics. “Structural Realism and Agnosticism about Objects” (Global Philosophy, 2023) provides two major arguments in favor of his favored version of epistemic structural realism, which promotes an agnostic attitude towards unobservable objects, and distinguishes this view from other extant views in the scientific realism debate.
