PURPOSE | Funds to support the costs of substantive enhancements to publish a manuscript of original humanities scholarship |

Grants of up to $1,000 each are available to support the costs of publishing a manuscript (monography, edited book, or journal article) of original humanities scholarship. This grant is intended to cover costs for substantive enhancements to the manuscript which are essential for publication. Eligible enhancements include costs associated with producing graphics and figures, maps, tables and diagrams, and copyright permissions. This grant generally does not cover costs associated with indexing or translating. If you are looking for translation support, please check out our Global Publication Translations Grants. All manuscripts must be accepted for publication or in press when the request is submitted. This grant is not available retroactively for works that have already been printed.
Publications receiving support must acknowledge “The Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research.”
All faculty and graduate students at Texas A&M University whose work is in the humanities in alignment with the Glasscock Center mission.
