In the name of God amen I Henry Wade of Port Royal in the Island of Jamaica above & Mariner being in health of Body and of a sound pfect and discerning mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty God for the same and taking into serious consideration the shortness of life the certainty of death and the uncertainty thereof and being bound out to Sea on a cruising Voyage against the French and Spaniards in the Sloop called the I[s?]aiah f[—]ze whereof Capt William Cook is Commander I have made Ordained and Appointed this present Writing to contain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Imprs I give and bequeath unto my Honned Mother Mary Wade wife to William Wade of Leguin[–] in the Island aforesd Planter all my full and whole Estate real and personal consisting in either House or Hous[es] or Lands Negroes Gold Silver Goods Wares in any manner of Merchandise whatever and Testament revoking all former Will or Wills by me made or declared In testimony whereof I the said Henry Wade have here entered my hand and read this Treaty 11th day of October Anno Dom One Thousand Seven hundred & Nine

Memo that on the Eighth day of October 1713 Personally Appeared before me Jonathan Pine and made Oath upon the Holy Evang that he was present and did see Henry Wade the Testator witten being then of sound mind & memory Sign Seal Publish & declare the within Written Instrument to be his last Will & Testament and that at the same time Benjamin Brown and John Bradstreet / both now dead, were also present and together with him subscribed as Witnesses to the same in the presence of the said Testator and further yt he Knows nothing of any Will made since by the sd Testat which may tend to the disadvantage of the Will within Written
