I, Margarett Lewis being indisposed in Body but blessed be to allmighty God I am of sound and perfect mind and Memory doe Constitute and appoint this my last Will and Testament revoaking and disannulling all others. I give my Body to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buryed and my soul to ye blessed lord Jesus Christ through his Mediation doe hope for Eternall Redumption I now dispose of my Estate both reall and personall as under Euprist Footnote . Imprs. I Give and bequeath unto my Well beloved Daughter Eliza Somiss one third part of all my Lands in the Island of Barbadoes in the parish of St. James in said Island and one Negro Man by name James to possess and enjoy att the Expiration of the Leases that is on record in said Island of Barbadoes as may appeare to have and to hold the same to her and her heires forever.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Well Beloved Daughter Sarah Ricketts one third part of my Lands in the Island of Barbadoes in ye parish in St. James in Said Island to possess and enjoy at the Experation of ye leases that is on Record in said Island of Barbadoes as may appear together with four Negroes, Our Negro Man by name Duago and three Negroe Women by Names Sabell, Feebee and Hannah, the Daughter of Phebee to have and to hold the same to her and her heires forever.

Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Well Beloved Daughter Mary Stephenson one third part of my lands in the Island of Barbadoes in the parish of St. James in said Island to possess and enjoy at the Expiration of ye Leases that is on Record in said Island of Barbadoes as may appear together with two Negro Men, on boy and one Woman by names Jackie Gado Abell and Moll to have and to hold the same to her and her heires forever.

Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Well beloved Grandson, Son of Eliza Smith, now Eliza Somis, Samuell Smith, one Negroe Boy by name Will together with Fifty Pounds Current money of this Island to be paid out of yr first Rent that shall be came due out of my Estate in the said Island of Barbadoes unto my said Grandson Samuell Smith to have and to hold to ye same to him and his heires forever.

Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Well Beloved Grand Son Jacob Ricketts, Son of my Daughter Sarah Ricketts, One Negroe Boy by name Abrion to have and to hold for him and his heires forever.

Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Well Beloved Grand Daughter Margrett Smith, Daughter of Eliza Smith, now Eliza Somis, Fifty Pounds Currt Money of this Island to be paid unto the said Margrett Smith out of the Produce of my Estate in the Island of Barbadoes immediately after the paymt of Fifty Pounds as I have bequeathed my Grandson Samuell Smith to have and hold ye same to her and her heires forever.

Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Well beloved Grand Son Jacob Ricketts, sone of my daughter Sarah Ricketts on Negroe Woman more by Name Phillips to have and to hold to him and his heires forever.

Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Well beloved Grand Daughter Eliza Smith, Daughter of my Daughter Eliza Smith now Eliza Somis, Fifty pounds Currt Money of this Island to be paid unto yr said Eliza Smith out of the whole Produce of my Estate in the Island of Barbadoes immediately after the payment of Fifty pounds as I have bequeathed unto my Grand Daughter Margrett Smith to have and to hold to her and her heires forever.

Item. I doe Give and bequeath ordaine and appoint all ye Produce of my Penn of Cattle that now is in Cabareators Footnote att the Penn of Capt. Ephraim Stephenson to be disposed Yeare by Yeare by the Discretion of my Under menconed Exrs. for the use and behoofe of my Two Grand Daughters Margrett and Eliza Smith.

Item. I doe hereby Nominate ordaine Constitute and appoint to by Trusty and Well Beloved Friends, my son in Law, Capt. Jacob Ricketts, My Daughter Mrs. Mary Stephenson Joyntly and Severally Exors of this my Last Will and Testaments and Guardians to my Grand Children and doe hereby Revoake and annull all Wills by me heretofore mad confirmed and this to be my last Will and Testament Wittness my hand and seale this 25th day of November Annogue Doni 1706.

Memd that on the 28th day of Feb 1706 Footnote appeard before on Wm Rudd Clark and George Ricketts Gent and made Oath upon the Holy Evangelist that they were present and saw the Testatrix Margrett Lewis within menconed being there of Sound Mind and Memory Signs Seale Publish and Declare ye within Instrument of Writing to be her last Will and Testament and that at the same time Jn. Alby and Jn. Johnston were both present together with then subscribed there names as wittness to ye same in the presence of the said Tastatrix + further that they know nothing of any other Will made since by the said Testatrix wch may feud to ye disadvantage of those presents.
