In the name of God Amen the ninth day of Decembmr in the year of our Lord God 1 thousand Seven hundred & Twelve Know All men by these presence That I Mary Hamilton of the parrish of St. Dorthey’s in the Island of Jamaica Widow being of sound and perfect Memory praised be God yet knowing xxxxxxxxx mine Selfe the Certainty of Death doe therefore make and Ordain the xxxx xxxx Present Testament Declaring therein my testament and will in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx form following That is to say first & most Principally I give and bequeath my Soul to Almighty God my merciful Father from whom Wilxxxxx xxxx xxxx and waiting for the Salvation of my God only in and by the [Grace of God] Pafsion of my Lord Jesus xxxxxxx my only savior & Redeamour xxxx Body I Commit unto the Conxxxxxfsion is home at Came xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx of being made Partaker of the Blessed & Glorious R[edeamour] xxxxx xxxxx merciful in the Day of our Lord Jesus & in the meaning xxxxxxxx xxxxatly buried by my exr hereafter Named Item my mandated xxxxxx that all my Debts wth I Shall justly owe or am owing to most the sum of my Decease to or by any Person or Persons Shall be well & justly Pd or Claimed by my exr of this my last Will and Testament and after my decease & my funerall Expenses Discharged I give and Bequeath to my Loving Cosen Rosamond Lamfeild one Cow & Calf Item I give & Bequeath unto my Loving GrandChild John Moor one part or Parcel of land containing about Twenty Three acres of Land Joyning to Stony Gully & in Case of the decease of the said Jno Moor Wth out any Heirs of body my will is that the said parcel of Land adjoyning to Stoney Gully returned to my Loving GrandChild John Boist & to his heirs forever. Item I give and Bequeath all the Rest & Residue of my whole Estate both moveable & Immoveable Personall and Reall to my Loveing Daughter Mary Boist to her & her heirs for Ever whom I doe make and ordain my soul Executor of this my Last Will &
Testament and Lastly my mind & will is that the said Mary Boist my Loving Daughter whom I doe make and ordain my sole Exr To sowxxx the aforesaid Mentiond Legacy so by me given perform & I doe hereby Renounce Discharge & make void all former wills & Testament Gifts and Legacys by me in any manner of wise heretofore made & Bequeath’d & this to Stand & to be my Last will & Testament I have hereunto put my hand & Seal the day and Year first Specifyed.
