In the name of God amen I James Turner Leyt in his
Excellencys Thomas Handasyds Regiment and in the Company Commanded
by Lieut Coll Robert Rookurvde being in perfect health of body and of sound and
perfect mind and memory praised be Almighty God for the same do make and ordain
this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say first
I commend my Soul to the hands of Almighty God my heavenly father hoping through
the merits of my blessed Savior Jesus Christ believe and receive full pardon and essayance
of all my sins and so inherit everlasting life and as to what worldly Estate it hath
pleasured God bless me in shall as also what arrears of sum or sums of moneys as Ley.t
in the late King William of Englnd Service or in the present Majties Service Queen
Anne or any other psins where moneys shall be found due to me I give and bequeath
the same as follow _____ That is to say I give and bequeath all my Estate real and personal
whatsoever and all sum or sums of money that shall be found due to me unto my
Sons James Robert John and Richard Turner at the day of my death equally to be
divided among them and in case any of them should die before they come to the age
of Twenty one years the Survivors to have the deceased party share equal divided to
them and their heirs for ever and I do hereby constitute my _____ do beloved wife Eliza-
beth Turner who sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking
and disannulling all former Wills and Testaments by me made In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eighth day of October One thousand
Seven hundred and Nine.

Memorand that on this the 1st day of Janury 1711 Their personally appeared before
me Edward Pugh and made Oath upon the Holy Evangelist that he was present
and did see James Turner the Testator within mentioned being their of sound mind
and memory sign seal publish and declare the within written Instrument to be his last
Will and Testament and that at the same time Lyon Ashers and Louis Lefontaine
were also present and together with him subscribed their Names as Witnesies to the same in
the presence of the said Testator and further that they know nothing of any Will made
same by the said Testator which may lend to the disadvantage of the Will within
Written

Memorand that the day and year above mentioned personally appeared before
me Lyon Ashers and made Oath upon the five books of Moses that he was present
and did see James Turner the Testator wthin mentioned being there of sound mind and
memory sign seal publish and declare the within Written Instrument to be his last
Will and Testament and that at the same time Edward Pugh and Louis Lafontaine
were also present and together with him subscribed their names as Witnesies to the same
in the presence of the said Testator and further that he Knows not if any Will made
same by the said Testator which may lend to the disadvantage of the Will within
