Dulce Espinoza is a current Ph.D. student, interested in the intricate interplay between criminalization and inequality in the United States. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University, Dulce’s academic journey has expanded her understanding of the intricate connections between politics, society, and justice. As an Aviles-Johnson Fellow, Dulce is committed to pushing the boundaries of knowledge in the realm of sociology and contributing to a deeper understanding of the multifaceted issues that underlie criminal justice and social disparities.
