New Student Conference Resources

You will be meeting with the Department of Economics on Day 2 of your New Student Conference. Typically there is a College level meeting on the morning of Day 2 after which students and families are released to their respective departments. The morning session is where you will meet the ECON Academic Advisors and hear about Economics and how to take your first steps towards registering for classes.

In the afternoon, students (minus family members) will be directed to a computer lab. There they will learn about how to use the HOWDY portal and build a schedule. Once registration opens, then students can physically register for classes. once complete and approved by an advisor - then the student is released from their New Student Conference.
