I chose to attend Texas A&M because…

I chose to attend Texas A&M University because of the camaraderie, school spirit and traditions that fill this place. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and the network that comes with being an Aggie is special and unlike any other university. There truly is no place like Aggieland.

My favorite things to do on campus are…

I love to study in the flag room to the sound of the grand piano and ride bikes with friends around campus.

When I have free time, I like…

When I have free time, I like to be active and play outside with friends! I love golfing, playing spike ball, frisbee, pickle ball, tennis etc.

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

The craziest thing I’ve done is bungee jumped off the 5th tallest bungee jump in the world in Innsbruck, Austria.

My favorite place to study is…

My favorite place to study is at POV coffee shop.

My favorite ECON professor is…

Professor Edwardson is my favorite ECON professor. I really enjoyed his Money and Banking course. He is a kind professor and it’s evident that he cares for his students and for their growth in knowledge.

My favorite part of being an Economics student is…

My favorite part of being an ECON student is the professors and faculty in the Economics department. Everyone is so available and willing to help with any questions or concerns. I have never felt ignored or discouraged by any staff member in this department. I’m grateful to have had incredible professors and advisors to help me throughout my college career.

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with Walt Disney. I grew up a huge Disney fan. To this day that is the only place my family travels to. I would love to hear about his vision for The Walt Disney company and how he overcame the initial obstacles that led to the successful company that it is today.

If I knew I could not fail, I would…

If I knew I could not fail, I would plant churches in third world countries.

If money was not a consideration, I would love to…

If money was not a consideration, I would love to own my own bakery. I’ve had this dream since I was thirteen years old and I’m confident that it will become a reality one day.

What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?

I am passionate about mentorship and I plan on pursuing this passion after graduating by getting involved in a church and a college age ministry in which I’m able to mentor and pour into girls. Throughout college I’ve been able to pursue mentorship through the various organizations I’ve been involved in and I’m looking forward to continuing this passion after I graduate.

After graduation, I plan to…

After graduation, I plan to work for corporate Walmart at their headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…

Playing in the snow with all of my friends during finals week freshman year and then again senior year. Started and ended my college career with a snow day experience!
