I chose to attend Texas A&M because…

I chose to attend Texas A&M University because it makes me feel at home. Aggies are nice people and I believe surrounding yourself with people who embody who you wish to become will only be beneficial long term. Additionally, the Aggie Network was a major incentive for myself when selecting a University to attend and after being here and experiencing it for myself first hand, I know I made the correct decision.

My favorite things to do on campus are…

My favorite thing to do on campus is attend football games. My time at Texas A&M University has been nothing but special, but there is no stronger memory from my time here than walking into the stadium yelling “WHOOP” at the top of my lungs after someone hits their ring on the side of the wall and hearing “Power” by Kanye West being blasted with everyone waving their towels around.

When I have free time, I like…

I honestly do not have much free time at all, but when I get a break, I like to spend time with my girlfriend and watch the show Westworld. Other than that, I’m extremely organized so organizing my pantry, making excel spreadsheets, or anything like that I tend to find enjoyable.

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

My favorite place to study is…

My favorite place to study would be in the library. Typically, I work best when I have silence around myself so places like the MSC are enjoyable for group settings, but when I have to put my head down and focus, the library is my go to spot.

My favorite ECON professor is…

My favorite professor from the economics department would have to be Professor Varghese. I’ve had Professor Varghese for two separate classes and both times, I thoroughly enjoyed what he taught. The first class I took was Economic Development my sophomore year and the second class I took with Professor Varghese was Economics of Microfinance.

My favorite part of being an Economics student is…

My favorite part of being an econ student is the variety of careers that an economics student can use their degree for. I really enjoy the ability to take many courses that business students take while learning about how people impact the economy.

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…

If I knew I could not fail, I would…

If I knew I couldn’t fail, I would become a Congressman for the State of Texas and then seek to become the President of the United States. I feel I have a pretty level head when it comes to making decisions that impact people at a large scale, and I also believe I am capable of surrounding myself with the appropriate people to advise me on decisions that do not just impact myself. Additionally, I grew up volunteering my time to my surrounding community and what better way to give back to the country that has given me so much than to be a representative for the people and work my way up to the President.

If money was not a consideration, I would love to…

If money was not a consideration, I would love to be a branch lead for the volunteer organization known as Texas Ramps. This organization takes donations and raises funds in their local community to be able to go out to people’s houses to build a ramp for homebound individuals so they have the capability to leave their homes again. Many of us were unable to understand how this felt until COVID happened and after that, I have an even greater passion for helping people in this manner.

What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?

As of right now, my passion is to run the two organizations I am President of to their full capacity. Both of them had a hit from COVID and I am working to improve the Texas A&M Economics Society’s numbers and I am working to spread the same to the Economics Society in addition to the Aggie Gentlemen of Integrity on campus.

After graduation, I plan to…

After I graduate in May 2023, I am looking to start my career as a consultant and seek law school later down the line as I gravitate to helping people and being an attorney will help me feel fulfilled.

The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…

The one Texas A&M University experience I will always remember will be being inside the stadium watching Texas A&M beat Alabama in Fall of 2021.
