University highlights, awards, scholarships:

Among the highlights of my university experience, my role as a Teaching Assistant stands out prominently. I have had the opportunity to work closely with fellow students, helping them through coursework, and contributing to their academic success.

Clubs/Organizations I am (was) a part of:

N/A

Current employment:

Studying full-time.

Family ties to Texas A&M:

First Generation Aggie!

I chose to attend Texas A&M because…

1) It has a strong reputation for academic excellence and a vibrant campus community, which appealed to me.

2) I appreciated that the master’s program in Economics did not require my undergraduate degree to be in Economics.

3) Although trivial, not mandating an English test as a prerequisite for admission offered me additional convenience and reassurance during the application process.

4) I was offered financial support.

My favorite things to do on campus are…

Catching up with classmates and acquaintances in between or after classes. Getting my steps in when I have to walk across campus for some of my classes.

When I have free time, I like…

To watch TV shows or grab a meal with friends.

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

I usually avoid unnecessary risks, so nothing comes to mind as falling into that category.

My favorite place to study is…

my room because I can control the space and ambiance.

My favorite ECON professor is…

Dr. Sekhposyan

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…

Anyone of my favorite singers.

If I knew I could not fail, I would…

Maybe challenge Mike Tyson to a boxing match. Apart from the prize money, I would be remembered as the “amateur” who defeated Mike Tyson.

If money was not a consideration, I would love to…

Pay for a luxurious holiday for my parents.

What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?

I’m passionate about music. I have sung in church even before I was a teenager. It’s a fulfilling way for me to serve others.

After graduation, I plan to…

Re-enter the workforce.

The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…

Everything stood out for me! My previous university experience was widely different.
