Bio

Karen Zerda ‘09 is a PhD student studying organizational communication. She holds a B.A. in Communication (2009) and M.S. in Sport Management (2011) from Texas A&M University, and an M.A. in Communication (2019) from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Her research interests include applied communication, organizational dissent, organizational assimilation, and crisis communication. She is also an instructor for COMM 203 and COMM 101, and previously taught Foundations of Communication at TAMUCC. Professionally, she has worked in the insurance and sports industries in customer service and sponsorship.
