Bio

Kelly Jo’s research interests are focused in organizational communication, organizing practices, critical cultural studies, and practical and engaged outcomes.

Kelly Jo Eblen is currently a PhD student in the Department of Communication at Texas A&M University studying organizational communication. She received a BA from Texas A&M University in telecommunication media studies and an MA from Texas Tech University in strategic communication and innovation. In addition to her studies, Kelly Jo is a full-time employee in the Division of Student Affairs at Texas A&M, where she works as the communications coordinator for University Center & Special Events. As both a student and an employee, Kelly Jo’s years of experience on the Texas A&M campus have greatly influenced her passion for creating positive change in organizations. She is particularly interested in organizational culture, organizing and marketing communication strategies, communicating across difference, and applied research. She is a native Texan who enjoys traveling the world and coming home to her dogs.
