Bio
Grounded in historical materialism, Tyler’s research examines the social construction of science and society through the kaleidoscope lens of rhetoric, organization, and political economy.
Tyler’s current research includes projects on COVID-19 law and policy, engaged communication scholarship, and his dissertation project –an intellectual history of Alexander Bogdanov’s attempt to unify science and society from an organizational point of view.
